It was an exciting morning at St. Joseph’s Elementary as NBC5 News broadcast live from our school for their Weather at Your School segment! From 5:00 to 8:00 a.m., students had the unique opportunity to meet real meteorologists, learn about forecasting, and see what goes into creating a live weather report.
Many of our students arrived bright and early to take part in the fun—some even helped with the live weather forecast! The St. Joe’s Chorus added a special touch to the morning by performing “Thank a Vet” in honor of Veterans Day, filling our school with pride and gratitude.
The segment will air on NBC5 News tonight, so be sure to tune in and watch our St. Joe’s stars in action! It was a memorable and enriching experience for everyone involved, combining learning, community spirit, and celebration.
