The Malone Federation of Teachers and the St. Joe’s PTO teamed up to host a wonderful Family Story Hour at St. Joe’s Elementary! The event was well attended by families from across the district, all coming together to celebrate reading, creativity, and community.
Teacher volunteers welcomed families into classrooms to share stories and lead fun, hands-on crafts. Guests also enjoyed viewing the beautifully decorated pumpkins displayed throughout our hallways.
This week’s Positivity Project strength was creativity, and our students and families truly embodied it. The PTO kept the fun going by popping fresh popcorn and helping children make colorful bookmarks. Thanks to the generous donation of the Malone Federation of Teachers, every child was able to choose a free book to take home.
It was a spooktacular evening filled with stories, smiles and community spirit. Thank you to everyone who helped make Family Story Hour a memorable event for our pre-k through 5th grade students and their families!
