Principal's Message

My name is Michelle Bailey, and I am the school principal. The Flanders school family welcomes students and their families as we navigate this school year filled with possibilities, growth, and exciting learning experiences. As the proud principal of Flanders Elementary, I am eager to collaborate with our dedicated team of educators, supportive parents, and, most importantly, our exceptional students.

Flanders is where young minds are nurtured, individual strengths are discovered, and friendships are made. Our classrooms foster student engagement, creativity, and meaningful relationships that inspire students to take ownership of their learning and feel confident and proud. Our experienced and passionate educators are committed to creating an atmosphere where every child feels valued, challenged, and supported in their individualized academic journey.

I value communication and partnership with our students, staff, families, and community. Flanders is secure, offering a safe school environment. Family involvement plays a crucial role in your child’s educational success. We welcome our families and the greater community to feel comfortable sharing input and ideas, asking questions, sharing concerns, and participating in opportunities that strengthen our sense of community.

I look forward to strengthening relationships with you and working together to make each year memorable and successful for the Flanders Elementary School community.

Warm regards,

Michelle Bailey

That all students can learn and achieve regardless of any differences. At Flanders, students will have a safe environment with an equal opportunity to learn and explore through high-level student engagement activities.

PTO

The PTO at Flanders Elementary School maintains a close working relationship between parents, teachers/staff, and students. It is our goal to enhance the educational experience by supporting the students and teaching staff through fundraising efforts to provide additional equipment, services, and special projects. A strong PTO is evidence of parental interest and does ensure a better school environment for our children.

Our PTO holds meetings to discuss and implement the ideas of the parents and teaching staff.

Meeting Dates: March 26th @ 5:30, April 23@ 5:30pm, May 21st @ 5:30pm
